Ember Tetra Care Guide
The Ember Tetra (Hyphessobrycon amandae) is a beginner-level freshwater aquarium resident from Brazil. It reaches about 0.8 inches and should be kept in tanks of at least 10 gallons.
Keep water near pH 5.5-7, temperature 73-82F, and hardness 2-12 dH. Feed omnivore, flakes, micro pellets with 1-2 small feedings daily.
Ember Tetras are tiny, peaceful fish for mature planted aquariums. Choose tank mates that are too small and gentle to bully or eat them.
