Kuhli Loach Care Guide
The Kuhli Loach (Pangio kuhlii) is a beginner-level freshwater aquarium resident from Indonesia, Malaysia. It reaches about 3.9 inches and should be kept in tanks of at least 20 gallons.
Keep water near pH 5.5-7, temperature 75-82F, and hardness 2-15 dH. Feed omnivore, sinking wafers, frozen food with 1-2 small feedings daily.
Kuhli Loachs spend most of their time near the substrate and usually ignore mid-water fish. Avoid sharp gravel and very aggressive tank mates.
