The Kribensis (Pelvicachromis pulcher) is a intermediate-level freshwater aquarium resident from Nigeria, Cameroon. It reaches about 3.9 inches and should be kept in tanks of at least 20 gallons.
Keep water near pH 6-7.8, temperature 75-81F, and hardness 3-14 dH. Feed omnivore, cichlid pellets, frozen food with 1-2 small feedings daily.
Kribensiss need tank mates chosen around temperament, territory, and adult size. Provide line-of-sight breaks and avoid fish small enough to be swallowed.
