The Dwarf Gourami (Trichogaster lalius) is a intermediate-level freshwater aquarium resident from India, Bangladesh. It reaches about 3.1 inches and should be kept in tanks of at least 15 gallons.
Keep water near pH 6-7.5, temperature 75-82F, and hardness 3-15 dH. Feed omnivore, floating pellets, frozen food with 1-2 small feedings daily.
Dwarf Gouramis use the upper water column and appreciate floating plants. Avoid cramped tanks with multiple territorial surface fish.
